











New York City native, Yansen Abreu, started his dance career through humble beginnings, going to school dances and house parties. At a school dance he saw one of his friends Eddie "Flave 1" doing head spins that's when he fell in love with breakin. Since that experience he felt a natural talent for the arts. At the age of 16 he started interning at Broadway dance to get discount dance classes and to become a choreographer. After years of dedication to dance, Yansen has diversified his skill set and is proficient in House dance, Hip-Hop and Acrobatics. With his raw presence and sharp movement, his bold dance style always leaves a refreshing statement. With experience in working on major motion films, awards shows, commercials, and live performances; Some of Yansen's notable credits include working with Rihanna, Harry Connick Jr, 50 Cent, Joey Bad Ass, Katrina Kaif and landed a principal role on then original Netflix series "The Get Down" as a Savage Warlord. Today, Yansen travels performing, judging, and teaching the dance styles he has spent numerous years perfecting. He is also now pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming an Actor and Creative director. His ambition to leave a lasting imprint on the world and inspire generations to come is what continues to drive Yansen to greatness.
